2015 was a busy year full of things that I managed to cross off the ol' bucket list.
After 10 years of writing music and freaking myself out, I sucked it up and released my debut album of original songs along with two self-produced music videos. #BeyondThisLine
Open Heart, my first television show as a series regular, aired on TV which meant I could say “I’m not a doctor, but I played one on TV!” out loud and mean it. (I did actually say this to a paramedic in a minor emergency situation. He didn’t look impressed.)
I played Vanessa in In the Heights in Vancouver and while I’ve always hated my birthday, I celebrated an epic one with the cast that I will never forget.
I also backpacked through Chile, met Munenori Kawasaki right before he got called up to the Blue Jays, adopted a dog, and sang the US & Canadian national anthems at my first professional sporting event which was also my first Raptors game!
I also met and took pictures with a lot of mascots:
Thank you to everyone (especially those of you who bought and listened to my album, Beyond This Line) for your support and love this year ... and for reading this blog!
