It was Men’s Fashion Week in Toronto and a special thank you to Rent frock Repeat for making me feel beautiful for the opening party!
Rent frock Repeat is a designer dress rental service definitely worth checking out. If you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a dress for that opening night, wedding, gala, or fashion show party, you can stop by their shop in person or online and rent a dress for a fraction of the price. For example, the Finders Keepers dress I wore for this event retails for $375, but you rent it out for $75 for the event. Smart right?
The best show at TOM* Fashion Week was without a doubt the "Mens Fashion 4 Hope Celebrity Walk-a-Thon" featuring killer struts down the runway from the Dad of the 6ix, Norm Kelly, and of course, Fashion Santa. Not only were all the men creative with their walks and looked handsome as ever, but the event also raised $27,500 for Sick Kids Hospital.
In addition to striking fashions by Caffery Van Horne, Kenneth Barlis, and the packed Christopher Bates show, other highlights of the event included the numerous selfie light cell phone cases that were on 24/7, the Siempre tequila cocktails, all the murses, and the excitement every time the designer came out at the end for their bow. It takes so much blood, sweat and tears to put together a collection. You could definitely feel the passion these designers put into their work and their art was truly inspiring.
Thanks for a great time TOM*! And thanks to Michelle who made me feel like a Queen for a week :)
